Lee Hill's Gallery

Lee Hill has been a fine artist since 1973.   Early in her career, Hill  was a traditional watercolorist, painting florals, landscapes and architectural scenes in a realistic style.  After moving to Chicago in 1983, she turned to more non-representational expression, developing a three-dimensional assemblage technique.  Besides painted elements, her work features glass,  metal, hand-made papers and found objects.

Hill refers to her work as “organic art” because it echoes the natural world, drawing inspiration from natural resources and the environment.  Her materials consciously reflect harmony, balance and the wisdom of recycling.

She has expanded her work recently to include sculpture and watercolors on canvas. Hill exhibits her award-winning collages at major shows and galleries.  Her works are included in more than 5,000 private and corporate collections.
