Annette Renee
was born in Baltimore, Maryland and studied art at the Maryland Institute,
College of Art in Baltimore City for three years. After traveling in Europe,
she returned to school at Towson State University in Baltimore County
Maryland where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in illustration and
design.
She moved to
Key West in 1991 shortly after graduation where she became a member of the
Key West Cultural Preservation Society and participated in the nightly
Sunset Celebration held at Mallory Square until May 2005.
Annette's
work includes a wide range of themes ranging from fantasy to aquatic. Her
mediums include pastel, prismacolor pencil, charcoal, acrylic and oil. Her
work has been shown at the Woodenhead Gallery, Three Legged Dog, The Wave
and Gatorville Gallery in Key West, Florida.
Annette
relocated to Manitowoc, Wisconsin in the Spring of 2005 upon her husband’s
retirement from the military. Her work has been displayed at the Rahr West
Museum and the Wisconsin Maritime Museum and is currently on display at
Gallery East and Persimmons in Manitowoc, Two Fish Gallery in Elkhart Lake
and River’s End Gallery in Waukesha.
