Drawing upon
half a century of experience painting, photographing, and studying birds and
wildlife, John Rawlins has rendered his bronze castings in his unique style.
With a combination of impressionism and detail, he shows the individual
qualities of each species, including wolves, eagles, birds and bear in a
compact collectible format. His life size mother bear and cubs are part of
the city of Waukesha’s collection of public art and they permanently reside
along the Fox River Riverwalk in downtown Waukesha. John’s Native American
heritage and exceptional knowledge of birds and animals is reflected in
every shape.
Internationally respected as an artist and sculptor, John Rawlins exhibits
at the River’s End Gallery.
