Meet the Artist

______________

Larry Cimaglio

Larry Cimaglio feels that glass art is the window to the soul. It allows the artist depth and only as much control as will happen on any given day. He imagines the final form and imagery, then works for its solution. There are oriental threads that run through much of this work. This imagery places the serenity of a tea garden and the peace of that tranquil setting into the viewers mind.
Larry received his B.A. from Western Illinois University and has been a glass artist since 1980. He has focused his efforts on warm and hot glass since 1997. He has been a guest instructor at Arrowmont(TN), Memphis School of Art and Watkins College of Art and Design as well as Glass Craft Expo (Las Vegas) and numerous venues across the country. He is author of The Art of Glass Fusing and his upcoming book The Finer Points of Glass Fusing. His art is in private collections worldwide.
