Nick Bowers
Glassblower
Nicholas Bowers was born in Milwaukee,
Wisconsin in 1978 and currently resides in Mequon, Wisconsin.
After finishing his Bachelor of Arts degree in glass from the Alberta
College of Art and Design in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, he opened Griffin
Glass and Design Studio in 2006, where he still owns and operates his
professional art glass studio located in South Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
His education includes the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design (industrial
design) and Pilchuck Glass School located in Washington State.
Bowers’ work is featured at the Rivers End Gallery in Waukesha, Katie
Gingrass Gallery in Milwaukee, Wisconsin Heart Hospital and Cathedral Square
Building in Milwaukee, The Club House in the Brookfield Hills complex,
Northwestern Mutual permanent art collection, as well as in private
collections around the world.
