Artist Statement

My current art practice combines a variety of mediums, including photography, airbrushing, digital color mixing, line art and geometric shape design using fractal mathematics.

I have many thoughts and views on the function and role of art in society and will give the short version here.

I believe art can serve as mirror for human thought and potential, and I create mine with these things in mind....as a possible portal to the never-ending expansion of human consciousness and capacity. I am thankful every day for having the chance to breathe life in a human body and use it to my advantage. It's my hope that I can develop my skills far enough that I might change our idea of art and design.

I mostly derive my inspiration from music, creative individuals, and the creative energy that envelops all of us. I focus my energy on creating a strong sense of atmosphere, possibly something inspiring.
Art can have a special way of moving people's thoughts and emotions, touching everyone in their own way. I put a great deal of thought and focus into all of my endeavors.

I believe color practically doesn't exist in itself, only when looked at. Your eyes are the sole reason my work has life in this world.
Without them, my images would be dead to the world.

When you experience someone's creation (whether listening to music or viewing someone's artistic vision), something special happens. You become a part of someone through their thoughts and ideas. Everyone has a different connection and understanding with the creation...when you experience someone's vision, it is yours alone. It is an invisible, outwardly incomprehensible communion of thought between two people.

Not a single person views my work through the same set of eyes. Each one sees the colors I use in a different light, in a different shade.
Each has a natural method of visual dissection, different relationships and connections you form through past experiences and memories, and unique ways of assembling abstract forms into something you can understand. Each of you has created an understanding of what these images mean to you.

I am devoted to use this connection and understanding to inform, inspire and facilitate positive change of our world.
