vases have unique variations of women’s, men’s, and children’s faces. They
capture the bond between mother & child, man & woman, and family. They also
have a selection of vases with just a woman's or child's face alone. Sara
and Chad work out of their home in Washington, which they share with their
young son. Each piece is individually crafted with pride and attention to
detail.
All of their vases are
pit-fired finish. Each vase is made of high fired porcelain. They glaze the
inside black so they can hold water. The outside of the vase receives a gold
luster trim that is fired on and then they are fired outside in a pit. Each
vase comes out with variations of color and no two are ever alike. They seal
the outside of the vase with a sealant. For long term use they recommend
dried arrangements. A care card is provided with each vase.
