Teresa Patitucci is a young Wisconsin artist who paints from the soul. She
has been fascinated with the texture of fabrics since she was young. She is
a dancer as well and so she moved on with her art to drawing the human body
in action and finally, faces. Her showcase piece above, “Blind Mannequin” is
evidence of those interests.
During her college years she added painting with oils to her artistic
pursuits. She now uses oils as well as pencil. Her love of drawing and the
human body complement her desire to pursue a career in the medical field.
Some of her work was exhibited in a juried art show at St. Norbert College
in 2008.
She continues to pursue her two loves of art and medicine as well as doing
charity work for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Look for her to
create new ways of expressing herself as she pursues her postgraduate plans.
